Groovy Green Smoothies


Green smoothies are all the rage these days, and for good reason.  Full of awesome veggies and not many kiddos (or grown ups) will turn down a smoothie.  This is our new favorite green smoothie.  In fact the girls and I are about to make some to take to the park.  If you have been hesitant about trying a green smoothie this is the one to try, it's so delicious (and healthy).  




Groovy Green Smoothies - 12 Months+
Ingredients:
2 frozen Bananas
1 cup frozen Spinach (I freeze fresh for smoothies because it's less watery than store bought already frozen)
2 tbsp creamy Peanut Butter (any nut or seed butter will work)
1-2 cups vanilla Coconut Milk (any milk will work)

Blend all of the ingredients together until you have a smooth, creamy smoothie.  Add as little or as much of the milk to reach the desired consistency.  Watch your kiddos drink their veggies with a huge smile!!

  1. This Green drink looks so yummy. I also make smoothie with veggies but I was trying to find some other recipe that is tasty too. I will definitely try your recipe at home.
