Very Berry Cereal Bars


Cereal bars make great on-the-go breakfasts or snacks. Unfortunately commercial cereal bars are less than healthy...in fact the leading brand has over 40 ingredients*! My easy recipe has 4 ingredients and takes 10 minutes to make. I like to wrap them in parchment paper to make them easy to grab when I'm in a hurry. They taste great with a chewy and fruity sweetness.

Healing Turmeric Smoothie


We are knee deep in February and knee deep in the winter germies.  Colds and flus are flying around like wildfire.  This smoothie will help your body fight off those colds and flus.  Loaded with turmeric which is naturally anti-viral, antiseptic and immune boosting.  Ginger doubles your fighting power with it's ability to loosen congestion and ease the stomach.  Lastly raw honey has strong antibacterial and anti-microbic properties.  Plus it doesn't hurt that it tastes great!

Blackberry & Cashew "Cheese" Greens Salad


One of my favorite lunch time meals is this inviting salad.  It doesn't even need dressing because the avocado and the vinegar emulsify nicely when you toss the salad.  The flavor combination is great and it's a nutrition powerhouse. The cashews really take on a cheese like quality making this my favorite vegan salad!

Homemade Healthy Chocolates


A box full of chocolates is often full of a lot of other things {besides chocolate} like artificial flavors, dyes, preservatives and other additives. These real food chocolates contain only four ingredients!  They are crazy easy to make and the kids will love helping. But the best part is the taste. Oh the deliciousness - they melt in your mouth.  If you don't have a shape mold an ice cube tray works great too.

These cookies warm my heart and make me happy. Sugar cookies that are safe for our whole family. They taste good, are healthier than most cookies, pink and easy to make.
