Homemade Healthy Chocolates

A box full of chocolates is often full of a lot of other things {besides chocolate} like artificial flavors, dyes, preservatives and other additives. These real food chocolates contain only four ingredients!  They are crazy easy to make and the kids will love helping. But the best part is the taste. Oh the deliciousness - they melt in your mouth.  If you don't have a shape mold an ice cube tray works great too.

Homemade Healthy Chocolates
Ingredients:
1 tbsp Freeze-Dried Berries (I used raspberries)
6-7 Dates, pitted
1 cup shredded Coconut, unsweetened
1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips or pieces, softened

Crush the berries into a powder using a food processor or you can put them in a zippered bag and roll a rolling pin over them (kids will love helping with that). Process the remaining ingredients together in a food processor for 3-4 minutes, until the mixture is well combined. The mixture should be sticky and a little melty. Sprinkle a little berry powder into a ice cube tray or mold. Press the chocolate mixture firmly into mold, kid's little fingers are perfect for this. Allow to set in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.  Pop them from the mold and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Wishing you all a happy and healthy love day!
