Tara Charlotte
Owner/ Program Manager
Tara started Yummy Sprout in 2010 with the goal of sharing healthy, easy recipes and it now has grown into a business that includes culinary classes, camps, events, parties, field trips and more. With a Bachelor of Arts degree and over 20 year experience working with children she is passionate about inspiring others to cook, having been featured in the Wisconsin State Journal, on WISC-TV, Madison Moms Blog, WPR and NBC15 on topics including homemade baby food, cooking with kids, packing healthy lunches and allergy-friendly food. She is also a founder and co-director of Creative Soul Camp. Her favorite ways to spend time include cooking with her family, trivia, yoga, writing, painting, traveling, reading books and taking her dogs for walks.

Hannah Kietzman
Culinary Instructor
Hannah is a current junior at St. Olaf College majoring Political Science and Environmental Studies. A Dane County native, Hannah has always loved baking and cooking for her family and friends. She was active in the Dane County 4H food project through middle and high school. During her spare time she loves reading and crocheting.

Allyssa Thao
Culinary Instructor
Allyssa is currently a student at UW-Madison majoring in Information Science while also pursuing a certificate in Digital Studies. Coming from a large family, she has grown up helping her mom and relatives cook. She is looking forward to learning and exploring new things with Yummy Sprout. In her spare time, Allyssa enjoys listening to music, spending time with her friends and family, and playing video games.

Elise Warntjes
Culinary Instructor
Elise is currently studying Psychology at UW-Madison and is a Badger fan through and through! As a former picky eater, Elise loves being able to encourage kids to find creative ways of trying new foods while also having fun and enjoying yummy recipes. In her free time, you’ll find her with her dog Bailey, spending time outdoors, running, drawing, reading, hanging out with friends and family, and, of course, cooking!

Abby Vitou
Culinary Instructor
Abby is a current student at UW-Madison at the business school studying information systems and data science. She is originally from Michigan and has always loved being in the kitchen trying new recipes with her friends and family. She grew up as a picky eater but slowly learned to experiment with new flavors and ingredients. In her free time she loves to run (anytime and anywhere), go to cycling classes, and watch lots of good movies with her friends.

Destiny Ingram
Culinary Instructor
Destiny graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts and Health Promotion Health Equity. Her love for cooking and baking started as a middle schooler when she began making weekly dinners with her grandmother. Today Destiny turns to cooking and baking as a stress reliever. She is excited to be a part of creating positive memories while encouraging kids to explore healthy habits. In her free time Destiny enjoys spending time outside, reading, yoga, and thrift shopping.
