Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie


This is our new favorite Holiday smoothie recipe!  Tastes like a decadent holiday drink and this recipe is loaded with healthy ingredients and takes less time to make than you would wait in line for it from a cafe.


Chocolate Peppermint Smoothie

Ingredients:

2 Bananas, pealed and frozen

1/2 cup fresh Spinach

1 cup Natural Mint Water (exp. Metromint)

1/4 cup Cocoa Powder (unsweetened)

3 Dates, pitted

3 sprigs fresh Mint, optional


Add all of the ingredients to a blender and whizz until blended and creamy.  This may take a bit longer than you expect because of the dates but give it a few minutes and it will be perfect. Makes about 3-4 small smoothies.
