Polar Bear Smoothies


This smoothie is a fun and yummy smoothie for kids and grown-ups alike! Perfect for ushering in December with all it's minty glory.  My daughter love getting out "Polar bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear" By Bill Martin Jr/ Eric Carle to read while we slurp our smoothies...


Polar Bear Smoothies

Ingredients:

1 cup plain Greek Yogurt ( I substitute almond milk yogurt for dairy-free)

1 large Banana, sliced and frozen

1/8 tsp Peppermint Extract, I use one that is alcohol-free for raw things like smoothies

1/4 cup unsweetened Coconut, shredded

1 tsp White Chocolate Chips

Milk (any type will work, I use Almond)


Add the yogurt, banana, peppermint, coconut, chocolate to a blender and purée.  Add milk slowly till you reach desired consistency. Top with additional coconut and serve with a straw (it’s more fun that way).
